Well today wasn’t ‘that’ bad though, more a typical day for me in the coalmines. I had a good lunch with the head installer boss guy and that’s always good. He fills me in on the facts about how things have worked in the past, why things work the way they do and so on. So far everything he’s told me (or warned me of) has been 100% correct. I really am lucky to have such a professional and open business relationship with the dude. In fact, I really like all the installers…WAY more than my own COWorkers anyways. Though our administration woman is in the good catagory with me as well. Very down to earth, kind, and has common sense and is not afraid to use it!
So tomorrow, I get to drive out to Melfort (seen below)
to help the guys and ‘supervise’ them to ensure the job gets done. I’m bringing my own drill to help etc. Will be good because I won’t have to be IN the office at least though I probably will get phone calls. This brings me to my next point….*goes to grab a pop* ahhhh back. Where was I…oh yeah! Okay so when i’m at work, I’m usually running around, or driving around, or on 2 phones at once, or on my phone in the car, or on my phone on site…etc…Also on the home front, I usually get a phone call every night from Ashley. A good phone call, but usually an HOUR or so. Again, it’s all good, but it really takes an hour of my evening up! SO what I’ve done even against my own judgement, becausae up until now, I’ve kind of thought the whole bluetooth things were just for nerds or for people that ‘thought they were SOOO important’ that they needed to keep in touch 24/7, BUT I thought hey, if I can get one of these things, and pair it with BOTH of my phones, that’ll be great! no more having to sit and hold my cell phone for an hour, I can get up and DO stuff while I’m talking, etc. Also during the day at work, I can just seamlessly answer the phone, and still organize things or work on things while I’m doing it. I believe it will be what the tool is FOR….to multi task.
